FESHE LogoCoconino Community College’s Fire Science Program provides training to individuals interested in pursuing a career in either structural or wildland firefighting.

 

We offer a certificate in Wildfire Suppression to prepare students for entry-level wildland fire fighting. We offer an Intermediate, Advanced Fire Science Certificate and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Fire Science to prepare students for entry-level structural firefighting.Our Intermediate/Advanced Fire Science Certificates and AAS Fire Science Degree are based on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and recognized by Fire and Emergency Services Higher Learning Education (FESHE).
